Abstract

Amirul-Momenin Ali (p.b.u.h) has provided 42 characteristics of the holy Qurʹan in the sermon 184 of Nahjul Balagha. According to those characteristics, the holy Qurʹan in the words of God; and the distance between the words of God and man, is the same endless distance between God and mankind. The holy Qurʹan is a light that will never be fade; It is a sea that no one will reach its depth. It is a clear and brilliant path, that will never be misled; It is a true remedy for the spiritual and mental sicknesses. Qurʹan helps and supports its bearer; it is a source and treasure of faith, It feeds the springs of knowledge. The holy Qurʹan is the basis and foundation of Islam. The Almighty God has put the holy Qurʹan to satisfy the thirst of the researchers and scholars. It is the strong rope for rescue, and a reliable shelter for those who look for safety. It is a true crown of honor and glory for the followers.
