Strategic Dimensions and Components of Military Command Based on the Teachings of Imam Ali in Nahj al-Balaghah

Abstract

Military command is the most important element of any armed forces that makes them efficient and move them forward. Military command is a specialized profession and a combination of science, art and experience. Leadership is the main essence of military command that puts the mind, heart and body of the subordinates under the guardianship and guidance of Military command; It is also a kind of comprehensive administration and trust of God, the people and the Islamic Government to serve, strive, guide and train the forces under its command. It is for establishing justice and repelling falsehood and oppression by insight and readiness. In the Islamic Government, Imam Ali's behavior is a model of command, manifestation of sincerity, honesty, sacrifice, purity, tireless work and striving to excellence in theory and practice in the armed forces; therefore, considering to the behavior of Imam Ali is necessary for the military command of the armed forces. This study aims to provide a model of strategic military command, and answer to this question: "Can the teachings of Imam Ali lead to the model of military command?" In this strategic study data collection was based on the grounded theory method, which was measured by text content analysis. Findings reveal that the military command of the Imam Ali at the strategic level, has 14 dimensions: leadership, guidance, communication, motivation, authority, management, selection, planning, coordination, evaluation, control, monitoring, follow-up, consolidation, and strengthening. From the continuity of 320 concepts that have been extracted from Nahj al-Balaghah based on case-study method, 60 components have been formed and the combination of components has also acquired these dimensions.

مهم‌ترین عنصرِ نیروهای مسلح که موجب کارایی و حرکت به جلو سازمان می­ گردد، فرماندهی نظامی است. فرماندهی نظامی، حرف ه­ای تخصصی و ترکیبی از علم، هنر و تجربه است که علاوه بر مدیریت، جوهره اصلی آن را رهبری تشکیل داده و فکر، دل و جسم فرمان‌بران را تحت ولایت و هدایت خود قرار می­­دهد؛ همچنین نوعی اداره همه­ جانبه و امانتی از جانب خداوند، مردم و نظام اسلامی جهت خدمت­ گزاری، مجاهدت، هدایت و تربیت نیروهای تحت فرمان، اقامه ­ی حق و عدل و دفع باطل و ستم است که با بصیرت و آمادگی، امانت‌دار برترین ارزش‌ها و آرمان­های نظام می ­باشد. در نظام اسلامی، رفتار علوی به ­عنوان الگوی فرماندهی، تجلّی اخلاص و صداقت، فداکاری و پاکدستی، کار خستگی ­ناپذیر و سعی در تعالی هر چه بیشتر علم و عمل در نیروهای مسلح می­ باشد؛ ازاین‌رو داشتن الگویی از سیره امیرالمؤمنین (ع) برای فرماندهی نظامی نیروهای مسلح، ضروری است. این مطالعه با هدف ارائه الگوی فرماندهی نظامی راهبردی، درصدد پاسخ به این سؤال است که «آیا آموزه­ های امام علی (ع)، می ­تواند به الگوی فرماندهی نظامی رهنمون شود؟». سطح مطالعه، راهبردی و گردآوری اطلاعات، به روش داده بنیاد بوده که با روش تحلیل محتوای متن، مورد سنجش قرار گرفته است. نتایج تحقیق گویای آن است که فرماندهی نظامی امیرالمؤمنین (ع) در سطح راهبردی، دارای 14 بُعد، شامل: رهبری، هدایت، ارتباط، انگیزش، اقتدار، مدیریت، شایسته گزینی، برنامه­ ریزی، هماهنگی، ارزیابی، کنترل، نظارت، پیگیری و تحکیم و تقویت می ­باشد. از پیوستگی 320 مفهوم که به روش مطالعه موردی-زمینه­ای از نهج­ البلاغه استخراج گردیده، 60 مؤلفه شکل ­گرفته و ترکیب مؤلفه ­ها نیز این ابعاد را به دست داده ­اند.
