Critical Investigation of the Orientalists’ Works Concerning Imam Kazem (PBUH)

Abstract

منذ القدم بدا المستشرقون بالبحث حول الاسلام بدوافع مختلفه غير ان البحوث الاكاديميه و العلميه الغربيه حول الشيعه لاتتجاوز الميه سنه . تطورت البحوث الغربيه حول الشيعه موخراً بشكل ملحوظ اما البحوث المرتبطه بالامامه فلم تلحظ ذلك التطور و قد انحصرت هذه البحوث في بضع مقالات ضمن كتب الموسوعات و بعض الكتب حول تاريخ الشيعه و ايمه الشيعه ضمناً. ان المحور الرييس لهذا المقال هو دراسه و بيان موضوع الامام الكاظم7 في موسوعه ليدن الاسلاميه تاليف اتان كلبرك و كذلك القسم المتعلق بالامام الكاظم7 من كتاب (مذهب الشيعه) لدونالد سون و كتاب (التشيع) لهانس هالم. ان دراسه بحوث هولاالباحثين الثلاث حول الشيعه تُظهر الي? حدٍ ما صوره واضحه لحياه الامام الكاظم7 منذ ولادته و حتي? شهادته. من النقاط الايجابيه في البحوث الغربيه حول الامام7 هي موضوع خلافه الامام و بروز الخلافات بين الشيعه و ظهور الفرق المتعدده و المشاكل الاجتماعيه و السياسيه في عصر الامام و وقوف الامام امام الخلفاو الاعتقالات المتكرره له و دراسه الاقوال المختلفه حول شهادته و آثارها و بيان اسباب ظهور الفرقه الواقفيه بعد شهاده الامام. ثم ان من النقاط التي لم يلتفت اليها المستشرقون في بحوثهم المتعلقه بالامام الكاظم7 هي طبيعه تعامل الامام مع الفرق و مواقفه تجاه ثورات العلويين في ذلك العصر و مواقفه السياسيه والاجتماعيه وخاصه تجاه الخلفاوكيفيه ارتباط الشيعه به لاسيما في المجال العلمي و الثقافي.

It has been a long time that orientalists have been involved in the studies regarding Islam with diverse motivations, whereas the academic and methodical research of westerns related to Shiism is less than a century. Their study concerning Shiism within the last decades has been of considerable development while their investigation related to Imamate has not been so extensive and it is limited to some encyclopedic articles and a number of books in regard with the history of Shiism having been occasionally discussed about Shiite Imams (PBUT). The consideration as well as the clarification of the article of Imam Kazem (PBUH) compiled by Ethan Kohlberg in the encyclopedia of Islam Leiden as well as the section related to Imam Kazem (PBUH) from the book "religion of Shiism" (mazhab eshiah) by Donaldson and the book "Shiism" (tashayy?) by Hines Halm would be the major concern of the present article. The study of the material of these three Shiite western researches declares a rather general picture around the life of Imam from birth to martyrdom. This issue of the succession of Imam and the advent of dispute among Shiites and also the development of numerous sects, the social political problems in the time of Imam, the confrontation of Imam with caliphates, Imam’s numerous arrestments, the investigation of several speeches about martyrdom of Imam and its consequences along with the investigation of the reasons of advent of Vaqefiah sect following Imam’s martyrdom would be the positive points of researches of westerns. On the other hand, the way of Imam’s collaboration with the sects, the positions of Imam about the uprisings of Alawites in this period, the politicalsocial positions of Imam particularly in the interaction with caliphates, the way of relationship of Shiites with Imam specially within scientificcultural ground would be the points not being considered by the orientalists concerning the life of Imam Kazem (PBUH).

دیر زمانی است که خاورشناسان، مطالعات درباره اسلام را، با انگیزه‌های مختلفی انجام می دهند، اما پژوهش دانشگاهی و روشمند غربیان درباره شیعه، به کم تر از یک قرن می رسد. شیعه پژوهی غربیان، در دهه های اخیر رشد چشمگیری داشته، اما امامت پژوهی آن ها چندان رونقی نداشته و به چند مقاله دایرهالمعارفی و برخی کتابها درباره تاریخ تشیع منحصر است که به مناسبت از ایمه شیعه: بحث نموده اند. بررسی و تبیین مقاله «امام کاظم7» در دایره المعارف اسلام لیدن که اتان کلبرگ آن را تالیف کرده و هم چنین بخش مربوط به امام کاظم7 از کتاب «مذهب شیعه»دونالدسون و کتاب «تشیع» هاینس هالم، محور اصلی مقاله حاضر را شکل می دهد. بررسی مطالب این سه شیعه پژوه غربی، تصویری نسبتاً جامع از دوران زندگی امام از تولد تا شهادت را نشان می دهد. مساله جانشینی امام و پیدایش اختلاف میان شیعیان و شکل گیری فرقه های متعدد، مشکلات اجتماعی و سیاسی عصر امام، تقابل امام با خلفا و دستگیری های متعدد امام، بررسی اقوال متعدد درباره شهادت امام و پیامدهای آن و بررسی علل پیدایش فرقه واقفیه بعد از شهادت امام، از نکات مثبت پژوهشهای غربیان درباره امام است. از سوی دیگر نحوه تعامل امام با فرقه ها، مواضع امام درباره قیام های علویان در این دوره، مواضع سیاسی اجتماعی امام به ویژه در تعامل با خلفا، چگونگی ارتباط شیعیان با امام به ویژه در عرصه علمی فرهنگی از جمله نکاتی است که خاورشناسان درباره زندگی امام کاظم7 به آن توجه نکرده اند.
