The Character and Practices of Imam Ali (AS) and Ahlul Bayt in Kashful Mahjoub

Abstract

One of the important things carried out by the scholars in Sufism and Islamic mysticism was to write books in order to teach or to answer the questions raised by the disciples and, in general, to guide the researchers in the path of truth. In these books, the basic and practical discussions of mysticism as well as the life stories and the observations of the leaders in the path of truth would be compiled in accordance with interest of the respective authors. Kashful Mahjoub by Hajviri Ghaznavi is the first volume on various aspects of mysticism in Farsi. In fact, this book is an encyclopedia, including mystic discussions, basics, ideas, and terminology compiled by the author. Hajviri was a practicing scholar and a learned man. One of the important and underlying subjects in his book is the practices and statements of Imams that are provided along with the description of the holy character of those great people. In fact, the mystics would set the life, practices, and statements of the Prophet and the companions, especially Ahlul Bayt, as their model. This paper deals with the character, practices, and statements of Ahlul Bayt – from Imam Ali (AS) to Imam Sadigh (AS) – and the resultant spiritual benefits.

یکی از کارهای مهم عالمان تصوف و عرفان اسلامی، تدوین و نوشتن کتاب‌هایی برای آموزش یا پاسخ به سوالات مریدان و رهروان و در‌مجموع برای راهنمایی اهل طریقت و جویندگان این راه بوده است. در این کتاب‌ها بنا به اعتقاد نویسنده و سلیقه او، مباحث مهم اصولی و عملی عرفان و نیز سرگذشت‌ها و سخنان بزرگان و پیشوایان طریقت گردآوری میشده است. کشف‌‌المحجوب هجویری غزنوی، نخستین متن تالیفی به‌زبان فارسی در زمینه‌های گوناگون عرفان است. این کتاب درواقع دایره‌المعارفی از مباحث، اصول، اندیشه‌ها و اصطلاحات عرفانی است که مولف در کتاب خود گرد آورده است. هجویری خود از عالمان و دانایان عامل بوده است. یکی از موضوعات و مبناهای مهم در کتاب، سیره و سخنان حضرت علی(ع) و ایمه اهل بیت(ع) است که همراه با توصیف سیمای نورانی آن بزرگان در متن آمده است. سیره علوی و زندگی و گفتار امیرالمومنین و فرزندان پاکش، منبع الهام‌بخش و اسوه کردار کسانی است که میخواهند دل از دنیا بکنند و تهذیب نفس و خدمت برای رضای حق را در‌پیش بگیرند. درواقع علمای عرفان و تصوف به پیروی از سنت حضرت رسول(ص) و صحابه، به‌ویژه اهل بیت(ع)، زندگی، سیره و سخنان آن بزرگان را سرمشق خود قرار میداده‌اند. در این مقاله، سیما، سیره و سخنان ایمه اهل بیت از امام علی(ع) تا امام صادق‌(ع) و نحوه پرداختن به آن و نیز بهره‌های معنوی آن و موضوعات مهمی چون نماز، ایثار، نحوه پوشش، ... بررسی شده است.
